Cherry Pit Cafe

Inside the Kitchen...

Who We Are....

Brian and April met in 2001 while managing restaurants and bakeries in Las Vegas. They soon married and continued their restaurant careers which took them through several moves and many states. They settled in the Greensboro, NC area in 2005. Brian worked as the Director of Operations for a National chain overseeing North Carolina and South Carolina. April opened and operated one of Greensboro’s first children’s consignment stores. After four children (all girls!), many lessons learned and a continued enthusiasm for creating and serving great food, Brian and April decided to use their combined talents, experience and passion for the restaurant business and open The Cherry Pit Cafe & Pie Shop.

The Cherry Pit Cafe & Pie Shop’s menu brings together scratch made Classic American Comfort foods, an extensive homemade pie list and a variety of fresh baked treats. Slow Roasted Pot Roast, Chicken Pot Pie, Home-style Meatloaf, Burgers, Sandwiches and Fresh Salads highlight the diverse menu offerings. Homemade pies such as Cherry Crumb, Apple, Banana Cream and Lemon Meringue to name just a few, will truly WOW you for dessert. Once you’ve had their fresh baked cookies, muffins or any of their other handmade baked goods, you’ll be hooked!

Served in a family friendly, fast casual style, the Cherry Pit Cafe allows their guests to dine at their own pace. Whether enjoying a quick lunch while catching up on your email, entertaining the family at dinner, treating your date to pie and coffee or picking up a carryout, whole pie or catering order, The Cherry Pit Café & Pie Shop can handle all of your dining needs.
